Lucy (Fields) Harris was a member of the Cherokee Long Hair Clan.
Lucy Fields was born about 1775 in the Cherokee Nation, (East). She was a daughter of Richard Fields and Susannah Emory. She married Daniel McCoy. They had six children: Daniel (1798-1857), Susie, Sallie, Alexander and Rory. She married James Harris about 1806. They had two children: Rachel Harris and Nancy McCoy Harris. [1] Her date and place of death are unknown.
