About Lulu Jane Smith
The photo above was found on Ancestry.com and was originally shared there on January 17, 2019, by Jason Pearce. Under the Media Tab above is another photo which was found on the website Family Search.org and depicts Lulu Jane Hatch and Samuel Francis Smith on their wedding day in 1900. There is another photo under the Media Tab from another website, http://www.jessensmith.com/young-jesse-and-seraphine/ and although someone originally identified the couple as Jesse Nathaniel Smith and Emma Seraphine West Smith, a comment posted by Claudia Smith Young indicates that the photo was actually the wedding picture of Samuel Francis Smith and Lula Jane Hatch, dated April 5, 1900. She had a copy and turned it over to the Church Family History Library along with the Emma Seraphine West Smith journals that are now posted on the Jesse Nathaniel Smith website. Samuel was the youngest son of Emma Seraphine West and Jesse Nathaniel Smith. He became the Snowflake, Arizona, Stake President after the death of his father.
