About Lydia Barron

LYDIA Prescott, b. in Watertown, Mass., Aug. 15, 1641; m. in Lancaster, Mass., May 28, 1658, the first marriage recorded there, Jonas, son of Jonathan and Grace Fairbank of Dedham, Mass., he came with his parents from Sowerby in Halifax Parish in Yorkshire, Eng. He was a farmer and carpenter in Lancaster, where he was killed by the Indians, Feb. 10, 1676, when Lancaster was destroyed.

She m. (2) Elias Barron of Watertown, afterwards of Groton and Lancaster.
