About Lydia Eastman
Biography
Lydia was born in Salisbury, Essex, Massachusetts on Feb. 10, 1704/5, to Ephraim Brown and Lydia Eastman.[1] Note that Find-A-Grave shows the birth on Feb 10, 1704 but says she died in her 56th year. If 1704 were correct, it would mean 57th year. We assume the Vital Records are correct.
Lydia married Jeremiah Eastman in Salisbury on Feb. 10, 1725/26[2]
The vital records for Salisbury show three children born to Jeremiah and Lydia between the time of their marriage and 1732, namely Lydia (Nov. 8, 1726), Martha (Dec. 17, 1730) and Jeremiah (Nov. 28, 1732), [3]. There were five additional children, likely born in Kensington, New Hampshire, namely Miriam (Feb. 28, 1739/40), Mary (Sept. 3, 1745), Ephraim (Aug.4, 1747), Phebe (May 1, 1750) and Benjamin[4]
Lydia passed away on Nov. 5, 1760 and she is interred in Upper Yard Burial Ground in Kensington, New Hampshire.[5]
