Daughter of Lee Coffeen (1842-99) and Mary Faulkconer (b. 1848), his wife, m. 1873.Granddaughter of Goldsmith Coffeen, Jr. (1799-1874), and Lydia Sweney (1803-72), his wife, m. 1820. Gr-granddaughter of Goldsmith Coffeen (b. 1773) and Refvim Foster (b. 1774), his wife. Gr-gr-granddaughter of John Coffeen and Susanna Goldsmith, his wife. John Coffeen (1727-1802) served as captain of Vermont Rangers to prevent the British from invading Vermont and New York. He was also member of convention, 1777. He was born in Topsfield, Mass.; died in Cavendish, Vt.
