Monica Teresa Pappadake (White) nee Hyndman, a longtime resident of Sleepy Hollow died March 29 2005 at the age of 72. Born May 22 1932 in the Bronx ,New York, she was the daughter of Francis & Alice Ferris Hyndman. Monica was a parishioner of St.Avila Church, where she sang in the choir, a member of the Sleepy Hollow Seniors. the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, the Columbiettes of the Knight Columbus, and she was the past President of Columbia House Ladies Auxillary. Monica is survived be husband Peter and her son James (Mary Ellen) White of Stony Point, she is also survived by her grandchildren Brian, James L. and Allison M> White as well as her brother William of Chicago Illonois, she was predeceased by a brother and a sister. Visiation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Thursday from 7-9pm and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Her Funeral Masswill be at St. Teresa of Avila Church on Saturday at 10am. Interment will follow in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations to St.Teresa of Avila Church, 130 Beekman Ave., Sleepy Hollow, NY 10591 would be appreciated.
