The following obituary comes from "The News-Herald,” Tuesday, February 22, 1977, Page 16, Column 3:
“Mrs. Mabel Westfall
Mrs. Mabel C. Westfall, 86, of 155 Newland Ave., Titusville, died Sunday in the Oil City Hospital.
She was born in Jefferson County, on Dec. 1, 18909, a daughter of James R. and Jane Confer Anthon. She was a member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Titusville and the Gold Star Mothers.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Pete (Betty) DeJulia, Sharpsville; Miss Ethel Williamson, Stoneboro, Mrs. Sam (Martha) Lucas, Cochranton, and Mrs. John (Sara) Perrine, Union, W. Va; four sons, Ellsworth and Robert, Stoneboro; Allen Hadley, and Lester, North Washington, Pa; a half—brother, Anton Reed, of Mercer; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Clara Weaver is deceased.
Funeral services were held in Stoneboro this afternoon with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery”
