Madgalena "Marlene" Henn (1943 - 2008)
Brief overview:
Marlene (65), and her husband, Mike, were attacked in their home, in Randburg on 28th March 2008 at around 22h10.
Marlene was fatally shot in the chest, and Mike was tied up and assaulted over the head with a firearm.
Police spokesperson Capt. Julia Claassen, said that Marlene was hit when the attackers fired shots into the house. It is unknown how the men gained access to the yard.
The attackers took the couples keys for their car. As they fled, they unintentionally pressed the panic button on the remote control to the armed response unit.

Marlene was also wounded in the chest in November 1983 when she was 41-years-old, and shot several times during a bank robbery by the Stander gang, which was masterminded by ex-policeman André Stander.
Beeld reported at the time how Stander, Alan Heyl and Patrick McCall robbed her firearms shop, "Pot Shot Arms", in Randburg. As Henn lay bleeding on the floor, six firearms and 2,000 rounds of ammunition were stolen.
Her son, Jaco, said that there was "just too much history"...
