Maj.-Gen. Nathaniel William Massey, 2nd Baron Clarina of Elm Park

Maj.-Gen. Nathaniel William Massey, 2nd Baron Clarina of Elm Park was born on 23 May 1773. He was the son of General Eyre Massey, 1st Baron Clarina of Elm Park and Catherine Clements. He married Penelope Westropp, daughter of Michael Roberts Westropp and Jane Godsell, on 29 May 1796. He died on 26 January 1810 at age 36 at Barbados, from a fever. His will was proven (by probate) in 1811. He was buried on 27 January 1810 at St. Michael's Church, Barbados.
He matriculated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, on 12 April 1790. He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Clarina of Elm Park, co. Limerick [I., 1800] on 17 March 1804. He gained the rank of Major-General in 1808.
