Born in Maryland, moved with family to Morgantown, WV area. Father was Isaac and mother was Nancy Anna Scott Lemasters. Joined the Army and served at Fort McIntosh at Beaver PA west of Pittsburgh. Moved to South Carolina and married (1) Hannah Waddell who died abt 1788. He married (2) Mary Waddell. Moved to Columbia Tennessee where he lived till his death in 1826. Buried on what was recently called the Pinkston Farm near College Grove Tennessee. I found his grave site with the help of Mike Garrett who was the previous owner and Pinkston relative.

Was in the Revolutionary War as a Major in the Army. Found his tombstone on Find a Grave website #29714866....it is all alone on what was once called Pinkston Farm near College Grove in Williamson County TN.
