About Malvina / Melvena Hobson, Free Settler "Experiment" 1804

Malvina left Edward Hobson and lived with Bartholomew Broughton at Prospect Farm in New Town (Hobart). Mr Broughton is one of the early pioneers of the Tasmanian wine industry and when he died Malvina was his heir. He is buried in the Luttrell family vault. This is confirmed in several sources.
