Malvina (Langberg) Rosengarten, Holocaust Survivor, Of Cape Cod, formerly of Newton entered into rest August 30, 2011.

Born in Krems, Austria in 1923, she was the daughter of the late Johanna & Saul Langberg.

She was the beloved wife of the late Erich Rosengarten.

The Rosengartens came to America in 1947 and settled in the Boston area in 1956. They lived in Brighton, Newton Centre & then Cape Cod, where they retired. In 2002 when Erich died, Malvina moved to Peabody to be close to her daughter.

Devoted mother of Bert Rosengarten & his wife Carol of Medfield and Susan Fader & her husband Walter “Nick” of Marblehead.

Funeral services will be held at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 1668 Beacon St. BROOKLINE on Thursday Sept. 1, 2011 at 11 A.M. Interment to follow at Roxbury Lodge IMAS Cemetery.

A devoted mother and wife, Malvina spent every hour of each day focused on her family while dealing with the pain of her Holocaust experiences.
