About Marcia Jane Chretien

Auburn – Marcia Jackson Chretien, 62, a resident of Livermore Falls, died early Sunday morning, December 15th at Hospice House of Androscoggin in Auburn. She was born November 6, 1951 in Farmington, the daughter of Willard N. Jackson and Minnie (Perry) Jackson. She attended school in Farmington and received her diploma in 1987 from Livermore Falls High School.

On August 8, 1970 at St. Mary's Church in Wilton, she married Maurice "Moe" Chretien. He passed away September 7, 2009. Marcia camped and worked security at Dummer's Beach in Weld; and in the kitchen Pomeroy Hill Nursing Home in Livermore Falls. For several years, she and Moe ran a food bank out of their home helping many people throughout the community. She enjoyed doing crafts but more than anything, Marcia was devoted to her family and home and especially loved caring for them.

She is survived by three sons, Mark Chretien and his wife Angela of Livermore, Tommy Chretien of Livermore Falls and Joseph Chretien and his wife Lee Ann of Hebron and her daughter Sherry Chretien and her companion Dean Spencer of Livermore Falls; eight grandchildren, Tyrone, Alexandria, Elizabeth, Shawna, Mickenzi, Elise, Marisa and Amanda; siblings, Willard & Linda Jackson, William & Lillian Flagg, William & Romona Hale, Raymond & JoAnn Jackson, Richard & Jeanne Jackson, Theresa Violette, Wanita Lagasse, Gary & Betty Tripp, Joan Jackson and companion Tim Hastings, James & Linda Chretien, and George Jackson and his wife Sylvia, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her, husband, parents, sister, Muriel Clark, and sisters-in-law, Anita and Elizabeth Chretien; brothers-in-law, Daniel Violette, Ronald Lagasse, Herman Clark, Philip and Roger Chretien.

A graveside service at Holy Cross Cemetery, 445 Park Street, Livermore Falls, will be announced in the spring. (Finley Funeral Home)
