Gettysburg Times, Tuesday, Jan 30, 1934 Mrs Margaret Catherine Amelia Mickley Pitzer, wife of David L. Pitzer, died Sunday morning at 3:15 o'clock at her home near Bonneauville. Death was due to a complication of diseases. She was aged 69 years. Mrs Pitzer was a daughter of the late Jacob and Annie Arentz Mickley. Surviving are her husband; seven children, Cletus Pitzer, Gettysburg; Nevin Pitzer, near New Oxford; Mrs. Ivan Sentz, at home; Mrs Clair Snyder, White Hall; Mrs. Simon Beard, Hanover; Mrs. Curvin Sentz and Mrs. Harry Good, Littlestown; thirty-two grandchildren, and six sisters, Mrs. Jane Henry and Mrs. Rebecca Font, Orrtanna; Mrs. Emma Shellman, Heidlersburg; Mrs Ella Burford, Monmouth, Ill.; Mrs. Minnie Delmire, York, and Mrs. Lily Miller, Waynesboro. She was a life-long member of St. Luke's church and was also a member of the Ladies' Aid Society of that church. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon, meeting at the home at 1 o'clock. Further services will be conducted in St. Luke's church, near Bonneauville. The Rev. J.M. Myers, pastor of the Lutheran congregation, will officiate. Burial will be made in Evergreen cemetery, Gettysburg.
