Margaret Denys

Note: In the Visitations of Cornwall (page 183 at the link below) Margaret Godolphin, wife of Robert Denys, is shown to be the daughter of William Godolphin and Blanche, daughter of John Langdon.

Stirnet's "Godolphin1" page does not mention this Margaret. FamilySearch (AFN below) indicates that she is a daughter of either Capt. Thomas Godolphin by Catherine Bonithon/Bonython, or Capt. Thomas' elder brother Sir William by Blanch Langdon/Langden; the provided dates support both possibilities. In the same generation, Stirnet's "Godolphin1" page mentions a William Godolphin that married a Sir Robert Verney (!); since FamilySearch shows that this Margaret also married a Sir Robert Verney, this Margaret is probably the William mentioned at "Godolphin1".
