Margaret Gordon married Sir Hugh Campbell, 1st Lord Campbell of Loudoun, son of Sir Matthew Campbell of Loudoun and Isabel Drummond, in 1572. [3]

She was the daughter of Sir John Gordon of Lochinvar and Juliana Home.[1],[2]

From 1572, her married name became Campbell.[1]
