OBITUARY Death has claimed another of Ballarat's old identities in the person of Mrs. Mar-garet Keane, of Peel street south, who passed peacefully away on Sunday morn-ing. The deceased was a resident of Peel street for the last 57 years. Her husband predeceased her 37years ago. She has left a grown-up family of three sons and five daughters. The sons are Messrs. J. A. Keane S.M. of Bentleigh, Thomas Keane, Adelaide: Daniel Keane, Seymour Camp. The late Mr. Will Keane, who was well known in charitable work, was a son. The daughters are Mrs D. Lowe, Mrs W. J. Southerwood. Mrs J. M'Dougall (Melbourne), Mrs George Cartledge (Mount Clear) and Miss Ellen Keane.
