Margaret Neville

Margaret Neville was the illegitimate daughter of Richard Neville, 16th Earl of Warwick. She was not the daughter of Anne Beauchamp.

Note: Lancelot Threlkeld's children were most likely by his wife Elizabeth Ratcliff although some speculate that their mother was Margaret Neville. (see below: Margaret Neville "had no issue")

This lady, on the death of her brother George, duke of Bedford, divided with her four sisters as his co-heirs, the large possessions which had belonged to the MARQUESS OF MONTACUTE, her father, to SIR EDMUND INGLESTHORPE, her maternal grandfather and to JOHN TIPTOFT, EARL OF WORCESTER, her maternal great-uncle, as fully set forth in the ancient partition made on the 4th of July, 17th of HENRY VII. in the hands of the present Mr. Huddleston. • ' Margaret Neville was born illegitimate circa 1455 at England.2 She married Sir Richard Huddlestone, son of Sir John Huddlestone, Lord of Millum and Mary Fenwick, before 1477; They had 1 son (Richard) and 2 daughters (Margaret & Joan).2 Margaret Neville married Sir Lancelot Threlkeld, Sheriff of Cumberland, son of Sir Lancelot Threlkeld and Margaret Bromflete, before 1492; They had no issue.2 Margaret Neville died on 17 October 1498.2
