Obituary--Owens

 Died in the city of Mineral Point, Oct. 30, 1891 of paralysis of the heart, Miss Maggie Jane Owens, second daughter fo Mr. and Mrs. Frank Owens, aged 15 years.

This is the second time within five weeks that this bereaved family has been visited by the grim monster, little Dannie, a son, 8 years, being the first. Maggie's death produces a vacancy in the community of young people which will long be felt. She was a young lady of most estimable character and more than ordinary intellectual brilliancy. She had finished the grammar course at the head of her class and had entered the High school course under the most favorable prospects. Although she desired to recover, she left us the strongest assurance that she was not afraid to die.
