About Margaret "Peggy" van Beuren (Ziegler)
the daughter of a renowned architect of Philadelphia. Peggy was already "high society" by virtue of her mother's family. As it was, she married young and spent her life in New York City, Newport, RI and Boca Grande, FL as the wife of an heir to the extended Standard Oil fortune. (this writer knew her as his grandmother)
Peggy had artistic talent from an early age and also helped her father with architectural drafting.
