About Margaret A. Skiver
Mom and I used to love to spend the day walking, talking, and picnicking at the Wilderness Center in Wilmot, Ohio. As a young person and an adult we often took walks in her neighborhood. It was when we bonded most.
She took me to church at a young age. We both accepted Jesus Christ and were baptized at First Baptist Church in Massillon at the same time (Rev. Douglas Eades was the pastor.) Later she was very active in the Salvation Army Church in the clothing, visitation, etc. ministries.
She encouraged my reading from a young age.
