Margaretha Jacoba de Jager ( nee Fourie ) passed away on 10 February 1890 at her residence on the farm ' Langgelegen ' Vryheid District, Natal. She was aged 41 years ?, a farmers wife and married to Pieter Christiaan de Jager and left immovable, movable property and assets of more than £ 25 but did not leave a will.

At the time of her Marriage, Margrieta was aged 24 years, a Spinster from the Bethlehem Congregation.

Her husband, Pieter Christiaan de Jager was aged 22 years, a Bachelor and Livestock Farmer ( Veeboer ) from the Bethlehem District.

They were Married at the NG Kerk, Bethlehem after Banns by Presiding Minister, Ds C.P. Theron VDM in the presence of the following Witnesses :
