In Marja Kauppinen Sahl's obituary the following was stated: At her funeral were friends from her childhood in Viitasaari, Finland. Among her childhood friends were Mrs. Aima Kallio from Kinros, Michigan. May the Lord comfort the grieving family and friends. Passenger record: Her passage was bought in Finland to Conneaut, Ohio for 304 Finnish Marks. She sailed on the Titania of the White Statr LIne on Sept 27, 1911. She went rom Hanko, FInland through Southampton, England to New YOrk. She was 28 years old when she came to America.
