About Marianne DeGeorge
Mariann F. DeGeorge, 37, wife of Louis A. DeGeorge and an active worker in Erie's civic and religious organizations, died of a heart ailment early Wednesday morning, March 21, 1951, in Hamot hospital. Mrs. DeGeorge had been ill for three weeks and hospitalized for the past four days. She was a member of St. Andrew's church, the Rosary Society of the church, Tuberculosis Hospital Auxiliary, and Penn Club Auxiliary. She was a daughter of Frank and the late Agnes Schelinski Connelly. Her home was at 823 W. 2nd St. Surviving besides her husband and father are four brothers, Prosper and George Connelly, of Erie, Robert Connelly of Toledo, Ohio, and John P. Connelly, of Hialeah, Fla., and six sisters, Mrs. Joseph O'Hara, Miss Peggy Connelly, Mrs. Raymond Gnacinski and Mrs. Victor Sobolewski, all of Erie, Mrs. Fay Youngs of Ripley, NY, and Mrs. Michael Abela, of Cleveland, Ohio.
