- L'an mil sept cent soixante et dix neuf le sept dia de Janvier, apres la publication de trois bans de mariage au prône de notre messes paroissiale les trois dimanche, les dimanche d'uns lecture ete les jour de la ceremoneum entre Amable Covions fils d' Adrien Couvion et de Francoise Labrocarie les pere et mere notre de la paroise St. Louis de Terrebone in Canada presentements de cette parroise d'unes part, et Marie Pourciau fille de feu Jean Baptiste Pourciau et de Marie Therese Chalin les pere et mere du cette parroisse d'autres part; et ne setant recu autre ouvers empechements comunique á l'effet de les mariage, el sous sospiqué signér curé de la Pointe Coupee, recu leur consentement mutuels et leur avons miparts la benediction nuptials en presences de temoins, suissant savois les seiurs, Louis, Martin Soudrie, Charles Emons et Charles Quebedeau, tous habitants de cette parroise, quis ont signés avon nous le jour et an que dessus.

- The year one thousand seven hundred and seventy-nine on the seventh day of January, after the publication of three wedding banns in favor of our parish Masses on three Sundays, on Sundays of one reading and on the day of the ceremony between Amable Covions son of Adrien Couvion and Francoise Labrocarie the father and mother of the parish of St. Louis de Terrebone in Canada presently of this parish on the one hand, and Marie Pourciau daughter of the late Jean Baptiste Pourciau and Marie Therese Chalin the father and mother of this parish on the other hand; and not having received any other communication impediments to the effect of the marriage, and under the signature of the parish priest of Pointe Coupee, received their mutual consent and gave them the nuptial blessing in the presence of witnesses, knowing the sisters, Louis, Martin Soudrie, Charles Emons and Charles Quebedeau, all inhabitants of this parish, who signed with us the day and year above.
