Marie Milliscent Branson

Marie Branson - June 29, 1926 - February 12, 2017

Marie Branson, 90 of Chubbuck, Idaho passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017. A special thanks to Dr. Mills, Copper Summit Assisted Living, and Heritage Hospice.

Marie was born June 29, 1926 to Pete and Anna Marie Feist in Zeeland, North Dakota.

After high school Marie moved to Pocatello where she met Ted Branson. Ted and Marie where married on November 3, 1945 and had six children together. They were happily married for 36 years when Ted passed away in 1981.

Marie was a LPN at Saint Anthony Hospital until she retired. After retirement she started volunteering and later became an Ombudsman for Southeast Idaho Area on Aging. Marie also held different positions for NARFE. (National Active and Retired Federal Employees)

Marie enjoyed spending time with her family and was very close to her Great Grandchildren Orion Diaz, Kaden Diaz, Allie Austin, and Tyree Austin.

Marie is survived by two daughters, Kay Austin and Betty Branson; two sons Bill (Kym) Branson, and George (Jan) Branson; 12 Grandchildren, many Great Grandchildren, and one Great Great Granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Anna Marie Feist; her husband, Ted Branson; two daughters Julia Ann Branson and Kandi Sistrunk; and one Grandson Kevin Jezek.
