There is a lot of confusion in this family between sisters: Marguerite (1676-) married to Francois Cormier; Marie Leblanc (1680-) married to Alexis Cormier; Anne (1681) married Pierre Brault; Catherine (1683) married Pierre Cormier; Marie-Cecile (1686-1731) married to Michel Boudreau; and Madeleine (1687-1761) married to Michel Hache. They are all separate individuals, with families of their own. Unfortunately, the confusion has caused some to be merged along with their children, so it's quite a tangle to try to separate them properly.

Please be careful when merging French or Acadian names, as there are many duplicates with vitals similar to each other. It's necessary to verify parents, spouses, and children when merging (many are married to spouses with the same names of their spouse, which is why more verification is needed).
