Marie Morley was my children's paternal great grandma. We didn't see her a lot because we moved around a lot when the kids were young. She was always kind and interested in hearing about our lives when we'd come back to visit BC.
Her sister, Willa Harris Caldwell's husband, Jack, gave my ex-husband, James Kay Morley, his first job. Uncle Jack provided a meat cutter apprenticeship to him after Jim's dad died. He and Willa invited us to dinner when we were just a young couple, which we appreciated. Willa lived to be 97, Marie 92. They were strong yet gentle and kind women.
