Marie Lodigensky

Marie was my grandfather's sister. My mother remembers my grandfather talking about his sister "Maya" occasionally.

Marie met and married an American soldier in Paris. She moved to Detroit, Michigan, USA with her new husband, Andrew Yevich. They had a son, Sergei Michael Yevich. Andrew and Marie divorced around 1950. Marie moved back to Paris.

My grandfather told my mother that Marie died of breast cancer when she was around 25 years old. Her son grew up with his father and step-mother in the USA.
