Maria Smoje was born on August 31, 1903, the child of John T. and Maria. She married Mario Marin (Mike) in 1925 in Crown Point, Indiana. They had two children during their marriage. She died in 1996 in Curtiss, Wisconsin, at the age of 93.
His daughter Jean was born on March 17, 1929, in Cook County, Illinois.
