Marion Jean Smith

Smith, Marion Jean - 88, Linden, Cumberland County, passed away April 14, 2008, in East Cumberland Lodge, Pugwash. Born in Lower Shinimicas she was a daughter of the late Maynard Leslie and Mary Agnes (Atkinson) Angus. Marion’s family was her life. She was a member of the Renwick United Church and a life member of the UCW. Surviving are her sons, Roy (Doris), Linden, Leon (Julie), Linden, Wendell (Gerry), Leicester and Cecil (Nancy), Linden; 19 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Jamie (Georgina) Angus, Linden, Harold Angus, Elmsdale, Albert (Mildred) Angus, Linden; sisters, Della May McNeill, North Bay, Ont., Grace (Russell) MacDonald, Halifax, Helen Bryson, Shinimicas, Mildred Hall, Gatineau, Quebec. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, W. Albert Smith, sister, Hazel Prescott. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, in Mundle’s Funeral Home, 204 Water St., (243-2506). The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 17,in Renwick United Church, Linden. Rev. Steven Longmoore officiating. Burial in the Renwick Cemetery.
