About Marjorie Schafer
Roland and Marjorie married October 5, 1943 at the chapel at Fort Knox, Kentucky. Marjorie gave birth to Bay City's first set of triplets in 1949 and then they had a "strong family" with their six children. They then lived in Bay City for many years. After Roland died Marjorie in the decades after moved to Florida where she operated her own restaurant and was a lifeguard in Wenonah Beach. In her later years she moved back to Bay County and resided in Essexville for several years before she died at the age of 92. She was survived by two sons, two daughters, nine grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren
