Martha Lou Coy

Martha L. Coy age 73 of Narrow Gap Rd. in Paint Lick, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2003 at her home.

Martha was born in Garrard County, Kentucky to the late John Elmer and Annie Nelson Sowders Allen. She was retired from Parker Seal Co., a member of the White Lick Baptist Church and regularly attended the Level Green Christian Church with her daughter Patsy.

In addition to her parents, Martha was also preceded in death by her husband Calvin C. Coy, one brother Bill Allen and one sister Nadine Turner.

She is survived by three children Patsy Bullens and her husband Johnnie of Paint Lick, Donnie Coy and his wife Mary Gail of Berea and Melissa Smith and her husband Brian of Richmond; two brothers, John Allen of Paint Lick and Elwood Allen of Berea; two sisters Barbara Queener of Lafollette, TN and Ruth McCracken of Berea; and 7 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on August 23, 2003 at the Lakes Funeral Home in Berea with Rev. Ed Hubbard officiating. Burial will follow in the Cartersville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 22, 2003 at Lakes Funeral Home.
