So Johannes Petrus Kruger's first wife, Martha Magdalena van der Walt, had likely died between the death of her last daughter Magdalena Johanna Kruger September 06, 1828 and the above baptism on 2nd April, 1832, and not the given 6th September, 1861 which is when her daughter Maria Magdalena Elizabeth Van der Merwe (Kruger) passed on.
