About Martha Bowker Young, Plural-Wife of Mormon Leader Brigham Young
Martha Bowker Young, daughter of Samuel and Hannah Atkins Bowker, was born at Mount Holley, New Jersey, January 24, 1822. She was a convert to Mormonism. She moved to Nauvoo prior to 1845 and was married to Brigham Young , January 21, 1846, Heber C. Kimball officiating. She and Brigham Young had no children.
Martha died in Salt Lake City, September 26, 1890.
