Marvin James Bouck, 78, passed away peacefully in a Salt Lake hospital on January 4, 1992.

Born April 20, 1913 in Magna, Utah to John and Mona Kone Bouck.

Married Mildred Knapton on April 10, 1937. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Marv retired from Kennecott Copper after thirty-one years of service. He enjoyed bowling, traveling, and using his building skills.

He was afaithfull member of the LDS Church and served two Stake Missions. He was active as a High Priest and served in the superintendency of the Sunday School.

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Mildred; son, Stan and his wife, Sally, Sandy, Utah. He was the much loved grandfather of three grandchildren, Adam, Brandon, and Courtney and husband Paul Marshall; brothers, Gene, Walter, John and Ray; sisters, Lavern Pratt, Jenny Hanson, and Reba Bailey, all of Salt Lake. Preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy Diane Bouck.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 1992 in the Grant Eleventh Ward Chapel, 3153 South 1100 East. Friends may call at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive (1495 East), on Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Published in the Deseret News on January 6, 1992.
