Walter was proud to have served his country during World War II as a Med Tech in Brazil. Shortly after his return from the service he began his 34 year career at the Power Plant at Kennecott. He was most proud of the years he spent as supervisor. Walter was able to enjoy twenty years of retirement during which he most enjoyed time camping, fishing, rock hunting and spending time with friends and family.
