Mary Bigelow

From the Bigelow Society:

1559 Josiah 4 BIGELOW, ninth child and sixth son of Thomas 3 (Samuel 2 , John 1 ) and Mary (LIVERMORE) BIGELOW, was born Waltham, Middlesex co, MA, 30 July 1730. He married there on 27 July 1749 Mary HARRINGTON, daughter of Jonas and Abigail (STEARNS) HARRINGTON. She was born in Waltham 08 March 1730. Like his brothers Jacob and Abraham, Josiah was prominent in town affairs, and a military man as well. he served in an artillery company as a Lieutenant during the Revolution. He died in Waltham 15 July 1810. Mass Sold & Sail Rev War, Vol II: Bigelow, Josiah, Weston. Lieutenant, Capt. Israel Whitmore's Artillery co., which marched on the alarm on April 19, 1775 (see below) ; service 4 days.
