Biography

Mary Wright was born 09 Mar 1675, Springfield, Hampden, Massachusetts, the eighth child of Abel Wright and Martha Kitcherel. She died in 1738, age 63, Somers, Tolland County, Connecticut.

Mary Wright married Nathaniel Bliss in Springfield, Hampden Co, Massachusetts on Febuary 3, 1697. He was born 26 Jan 1671 in Springfield, Hampshire County and died 1751, Lebanon, New London, Connecticut Colony, the son of John Bliss & Patience Burt.

Their children were:

• Nathaniel, died young. Born in Springfield.
• Henry, born October 25, 1701; married Bethia Spafford. Born in Enfield.
• Nathaniel, born October 26 1704; married Mehitable Spafford on September 4, 1723/24. Born in Enfield.
• Mary, born March 3, 1706; married Moses Hatch on February 1, 1748. Born in Lebanon, Connecticut.
• Martha, born October 30, 1709; married Jabez Lyman on January 29, 1730. Born in Lebanon, Connecticut.
