Marriage - 5th April 1858 Charles Pinder aged 21 a Bachelor Occup Miner of Hoylandswaine (no father's name) TO Mary Chappell aged 19 a Spinster of Hoylandswaine, father John Chappell father's occup Nail Maker. Married in the Parish Church (Silkstone) according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Established Church after Banns by me J L Walton, vicar. This marriage was solemnised between us Charles Pinder (his mark X) and Mary Chappell (her mark X) In the Presence of us Timothy Naylor (wrote own name) and William Chappell (his mark X).
