Mary (Cleaver) Baughan - Harding [Convict "Charlotte" 1788]

Mary CLEAVER was born c1760

Mary was convicted of buglary and sentenced to 7 years transportation. She arrived in Sydney Cove on 26/1/1788 on "Charlotte"

Mary had a relationship with John BINGHAM/BAUGHAN (they married 17/2/1788 in Sydney) and they had the following children

• James born 1787 on "Charlotte" died 17/3/1788

Mary returned to England in 1800 and then returned to Australia in 1802 as a free settler.

Mary married Richard HARDING in 1802

Mary again returned to England in 1819 in "Surry"

In 1808 Mary transferred her property to James Cleaver, Convict "Surprize" 1790 "in consideration of love and affection" - they were possibly brother and sister
