Wife of the Rev. Henry Hall and the daughter of Mareen Duval (the immigrant) and his second wife, Susanna Marie Duvall (Brasseur).
"One of their children was Martha Hall West (1708-1752) married Stephen West (1687-1752) in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Their son, Stephen West, Jr., owned the Woodyard Mansion and was active in the Revolutionary War. His son, Richard West married the sister of Francis Scott Keys' wife. It was Richard who encouraged Key to obtain the release of his neighbor Dr. Beanes ... which in the end brought is memorialized
in the poem, The Star Spangled Banner.
