Mary Hammond

June 29, 1684 -- Mary Platts was baptized at Rowley, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony. [1] [2] [3]

Mary Platts and David Hammond, of Ipswich, announced their intention to marry on July 11, 1719, in Rowley, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Province. [4][5]

Mary died in March 1747 and he married Elizabeth Platts, daughter of Moses and Hannah (Platts) Platts, on 6 Aug. 1748. David and Elizabeth did not have any children.[3]

He died on September 22, 1765, in Rowley, Essex County, Massachusetts.[6][7]

1. David b. 17 Aug. 1720 married (1) Susanna Harris (2) Mrs. Elizabeth Wood.
2. Jonathan b. c. 1723 died 26 July 1763.
3. Mary b. c. 1726 bapt. 5 May 1728.
4. Sarah b. 15 Feb. 1728 married Joseph Treadwell.
5. Phineas b. c. 1730, bapt. 7 Sep. 17331 married Sarah Lewis.
6. Joanna b. C. 1735 bapt. 24 June 1739 married Amos Parsons.[8]

She is listed in genealogies as child of Samuel Platts and Philippa Felt. VR of Rowley lists her birth as “Plats, Mary, d. S., sr., bp. June 29, 1684. CR1“
