Lovering, daughter of Mr. Daniel Lovering, Superintendent of the Adams Express Company, was married to Mr. George U. G. Ilolman of Eaat Boston. The ceremony was performed bv Rev. J. T. Magrath, rector of tbe Church of the Holy Spirit. The church was filled with people of Mattapan and many friends from Boston and New York. The chancel was tastefully decorated with flowers and ferns. A reception was given at the residence of the brides father. Mr. and Mrs. George U. G. Holman left on the late train for New York. They will spend their honeymoon in that city Philadelphia and Washington.

Rochester, Mass. 5 March 1703/4), wife of Samuel Griffith and mother of Daniel and Ephraim. Eleanor's parents-in-law were the relatively obscure William and Mary (---) Griffith of Yarmouth and Rochester, and her parents were Joshua and Abigail (Stanley?) Eastey. (relationship path).
