Mary Ann Jolly was an 1820 settler who travelled to South Africa with her husband John and daughter Ann who was born in 1817. It is not known what Mary Ann's surname was but according to Sue Mackay's notes it was Atherton. A Mary Atherton married a John Jolly in Wigan, Lancashire on 3rd Nov 1817.
