Dear Sir, When my Father James Henry Johns died, he died without a will ? the probate office sent the children a paper asking if we would sign our share of his estate over to my mother on the condition to be equally divided at her death which I signed yes. Also when my brother John Bolitho Johns died later he also died without a will and the paper was sent the same as in my father's will signing our share over for ? to be equally divided at her death and again I signed yes as well. Sir my mother died on the 4th May and after she was buried my sister wrote me she left a will leaving her most of the money. Well it does not seem right to me. I am writing to you for advice on the matter as I signed yeas on the condition it was to be equally divided at her death so sir, hoping to receive a reply to this letter, I remain Your Faithfully Mrs Mary Biggs.

18th June 1930 Mrs Mary Biggs Wickepin

re James Henry Johns deceased. There is no record of either probate of Letters of Administration having been applied for or given in the above estate [* Jenny's note. Mary failed to say which state he died in. He did not die in W.A.] re John Bolith Johns deceased. There being no will in this estate Mrs. Jane Johns of 29 Robertson St, Subiaco applied and as it was necessary to give notice to the next of kin the paper you signed was merely a consent with the others that she should apply. re Jane Johns deceased. Probate of the will in this estate was granted to Miss Alice Johns who was appointed the executrix. If you should require a copy of this will a fee of 2/6 is payable. Yours Faithfully, Master Supreme Court.
