Problems with this profile: She is not the daughter of John Bell and Hannah Jefferson. Hannah's Will names her daughter, Mary Anderson. Mary Bell married John Anderson, II. was born in 1725, in Arnols, Surry county, Virginia, son of James Anderson I and Mary Jordan. Mary's brother John Bell and his wife Phebe Stokes were the godparents of her oldest daughter, Martha Anderson, at her baptism in 1750, in Albemarle Parish, in Surry county, Virginia.

The claim of a record dated 1758 for a marriage of a Francis Meadows [sic] who married a Bell is probably "1758, MEADOR, FRANCES Married ? Bell, Book: W 11,Page: 129.", from Wilkerson, Eva Eubank. Index to marriages of old Rappahannock and Essex Counties, Virginia. (Richmond: Whittet & Shepperson. 1953)

This is a reference to a Will, not a Marriage, in Essex County, not Orange County. The will is that of Thomas Meador, whose daughter Frances Meador (not Francis Meadows), married xxx Bell, sometime ‘’before’’ 1758 in Essex County. As such, it has no relevance to the identity of Francis Meadow’s wife.
