“8. Mary Moss, (daughter of Mary Lathrop and the 2nd John Moss) born July 23, 1694, and married June 28, 1714, Solomon Munson, and had three children : Martha, Samuel, and Elizabeth. Biography
Mary Moss was born to John and Martha (Lathrop) Moss in Wallingford, Connecticut, July 25, 1694. Mary married Solomon Munson June 28, 1714, in Wallingford.
Solomon and Mary (Moss) had the following children in Wallingford:
- Martha, b September 14, 1715
- Samuel, b September 15, 1717
- Eliasaph, b November 17, 1719
Per this source, Solomon Munson had an additional five children with a second wife, Tamar _____ : Moses, Solomon, Waitstill, Stephen, Caleb.
Another source reports Solomon's eight children as well as two wives (the second wife being Sarah Peck, according to this source), but does not indicate when Mary (Moss) Munson passed away, or which wife was the mother of the various children.
Mary (Moss) Munson died about 1720. She is buried in First Presbyterian Churchyard, Morristown, New Jersey.
