I. RICHARD MUSGRAVE, the first Baronet, who was made knight of the Bath at the coronation of James first. He died in 1615, leaving issue by his wife, Frances, daughter of Philip, Lord Wharton, 1, Mary, who died unmarried, and a son, Sir Philip.
Mary was ten years old when her father died. Her family moved to her grandfather Wharton's home. Her grandfather, Philip, Lord Wharton, sent her to live with her aunt, Lady Wotton, her mother's eldest sister. Mary was raised and educated as a daughter of this family.
Mary Musgrave died c. 1624, unmarried. She was buried at Christ Church, Canterbury.
