Mrs. Hugh Newton
Mrs. Mary Catherine Newton, 88, of RFD 2 Fredericksburg died Friday at Hughes Nursing Home. Mrs. Newton, a Stafford Count (sic County) native, was the widow of Hugh E. Newton.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Annie N. Williams of Fredericksburg; a brother, John D. Newton of Fredericksburg; 15 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 10 great great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Wheeler & Thompson Funeral Home. The Rev. Harris G. Walker will officiate and intermentwill be in New Hope Methodist Church Cemetery, Stafford County.
